Terms

Here is the general business agreement I follow when I do an arrangement.  If any of these terms are a problem for your group's needs, I am happy to discuss modifications via email.

Custom Arrangements
  • 50% deposit must be received before work commences.  Remaining 50% is due upon delivery.  One round of feedback and revisions (if necessary) is included in the price!
  • Acappella Press typically quotes a two-week deadline from the time payment is received during most times of year.  In all cases, a specific deadline will be agreed upon by both parties before a deposit is requested.
  • If you need an arrangement in less than two weeks, please mention your circumstances in the request form. Special timelines may be determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • Acappella Press will deliver by the agreed-upon deadline, guaranteed. If we don't, Acappella Press will return your payment in full, or finish the arrangement at a 50% discount, at your request.
  • The group that buys the arrangement may make unlimited digital or paper copies of the PDF or printed arrangement and distribute it to performers who work with them personally.
  • Please don't "sell" or give the arrangement to other groups without my permission - respect my hard work by not doing this!
  • The copyright and all applicable rights for the arrangement still belong to Acappella Press.
  • If you want me not to resell copies of the arrangement to other groups, that's ok and will be factored into the price.
  • Acappella Press is an arranging website only, and I can't sell rights to the original works, if applicable.
I prefer that this process be open and interactive. If you have concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Existing Arrangements
  • A preview page of the arrangement is available before payment is requested.
  • I will do my best to answer any questions you may have about the arrangement so that you know what you're getting!  Please contact me via the "Request Quote" form.
  • The group that buys the arrangement may make unlimited digital or paper copies of the PDF or printed arrangement and distribute it to performers who work with them personally.
  • You may not distribute or sell the arrangement to other groups without my permission.  Please respect my business and hard work by not doing this.
  • The copyright and all applicable rights for the arrangement still belong to Acappella Press.
  • If you don't want Acappella press to distribute the arrangement to any other group, this is ok and will be factored into the price.
  • Acappella Press is an arranging website only, and cannot sell rights to the original works, if applicable.

Hourly Work (additional feedback, solo transcription, revision & editing)
  • Once I have information about your specific request, I will provide you with an estimate and an upper limit on my time not to be exceeded without your express permission.
  • You retain all copyrights on the work (if applicable), and Acappella Press will not use the arrangement for any purpose whatsoever other than what you request.
